Willunga Waldorf School has applied the Demeter BD method over many years, led by a previous school gardener who was a long-term practicing member of the Biodynamic Growers Association. The school has extensive grounds, including class gardens, educational areas, avocado, walnut and almond orchards. There is also a wetlands area and bush tucker trail. An additional area is now under focus for BD development.

This field day is aimed at small growers and gardeners.

Time: 9.30am arrival for a 10am start, finish around 3.30pm. (Set aside the full day in order to meet the practical requirements for membership of BDGA.)

Bring: BYO lunch, chair, work boots, wet weather gear (just in case) and a good garden fork for compost building! Tea, coffee and morning tea will be provided.

Stirring and storage equipment will be demonstrated and available for sale on the day.
