AUSTRALIAN DEMETER BIODYNAMICAustralian Demeter Biodynamics is a method of farming and growing developed by Alex Podilinsky in the 1950s. Our mission today is to uphold the integrity and viability of this method by supporting growers to develop and maintain healthy, fertile soils to deliver more high quality and nutritious biodynamic produce to the market. This mission is carried out by a group of organisations under the Australian Demeter Biodynamic banner. - The Biodynamic Agricultural Association of Australia (BDAAA) supports commercial farmers to successfully practise the Australian Demeter Biodynamic method by maintaining stores of high quality biodynamic preparations and delivering the training and equipment required to successfully store, stir and apply the preparations for maximum results
- Biodynamic Growers Australia (BDGA) supports small growers and gardeners to use the Australian Demeter Biodynamic method with training and information, access to preparations and the equipment to apply the method on a small scale
- The Biodynamic Research Institute operates a certification program that underpins the integrity of the Demeter trademark in the Australian market
- The Biodynamic Marketing Company manages sales and distribution for biodynamic growers to a market that rewards the integrity of the Australian Biodynamic method of farming
