'Cowobbee Beef' and 'Lynden Lamb' are yielded on ‘Lynden’ which is located south east of Oberon, on the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. Lynden is a picturesque 1000 acre property which houses some of the highest landmarks within the district, rising to an altitude of 1250m and averaging 900mm rainfall per annum, with some of this falling as snow in the winter.

Paul Kurtz is the owner of Lynden and he manages 500 acres of the property running the Red Angus herd.  Red Angus are known for their carcase traits of tenderness and flavour. “Cowobbee Beef “are marketed at 12-15 month of age reaching an average carcase weight of 225kg.

The other 500 acres of Lynden is leased by Tammy Kurtz (daughter), a third generation farmer on Lynden. Tammy started leasing Lynden  in 2009 and developed “Lynden Lamb”. The sheep enterprise consists of a self-replacing White Suffolk flock. The White Suffolk breed is renowned for their excellent carcase qualities of exceptional muscle with outstanding eating quality of tenderness and flavour.  Lambs are turned off at an average 20-22kg dressed weight with a fat score of 3.
